Starting a new challenge can feel equal parts exciting and overwhelming. You’re here because something inside you said, “I’m ready for this.” Maybe you’re chasing a goal, or maybe you’re looking for a reset—either way, the decision to begin is one of the most powerful steps you’ll take. As Lao Tzu wisely said, “The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.” Let’s make that first step intentional.
Setting Intentions
To kick off your 75-day journey, start by laying a strong foundation with clear intentions. This is your chance to align with your purpose and create a roadmap for the weeks ahead.
1. Define Your “Why”
Your “why” is your North Star, the deeper reason driving you to take on this challenge. Ask yourself:
Why did I decide to join this challenge?
What do I hope to gain from this experience?
Journaling prompt: “What will achieving this goal mean for my life, my health, or my relationships?” Write it down. Let it become your anchor.
2. Create a Wellness Vision
Imagine it: Day 75. You’ve shown up for yourself every day. How do you feel? What does your life look like? Visualizing your success can help you stay focused and motivated. Take it a step further by creating a vision board—digital or physical—that captures your goals and aspirations.
3. Set SMART Goals
Turn your vision into action. Break your goals into steps that are Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound. For example:
Instead of saying, “I’ll exercise more,” commit to, “I’ll attend three yoga classes per week.”
Replace “I’ll eat healthier” with, “I’ll include one more serving of vegetables each day.”

Tips for Staying Motivated
Starting strong is great, but staying consistent is where the magic happens. Here are some strategies to keep you going:
1. Start Small
Big changes can feel daunting. Instead, focus on small, manageable steps. Celebrate those little victories—they’re proof of your progress.
2. Find Accountability
Whether it’s a workout buddy, a group chat, or our challenge community (hey, that's us!!), having someone to check in with can make all the difference. I'll be checking in with you daily via text, and weekly via email! You can also comment directly on these posts! Let's be here for one another!
3. Embrace a Positive Mindset
Keep self-doubt at bay with affirmations like, “I am capable of achieving my goals.” Pair this with mindfulness practices, such as daily meditation or simply taking three deep breaths when you feel overwhelmed. We are all 100% rooting for you!
4. Track Your Progress
Seeing your progress visually can be incredibly motivating. Use a habit tracker, (*wink wink, nudge nudge*) journal, or even sticky notes on your mirror to mark your wins.
Building a Supportive Environment
Setting yourself up for success means creating an environment that aligns with your intentions.
1. Prepare for Success
Take proactive steps:
Meal prep healthy options so you’re ready when hunger strikes.
Lay out workout clothes the night before.
Declutter your space to clear mental and physical distractions.
2. Plan for Obstacles
Life happens. Think about potential challenges—a busy schedule, low energy—and brainstorm solutions ahead of time. Remember, obstacles aren’t roadblocks; they’re opportunities to grow stronger.
Embrace the Journey
Perfection isn’t the goal—progress is. Each day you show up for yourself, you’re building a foundation of resilience and self-care. This is your journey, and you have the power to make it meaningful.
Reflection Prompt: What is one small action I can take today to align with my intentions for this challenge?
