YOGA SCULPT TEACHER TRAINING (15 Hours CECs)

OBJECTIVE

The objective of this training is to provide participants with a strong, well-rounded foundation in teaching Power Sculpt and other Yoga Sculpt-style classes that thoughtfully combine yoga, strength training, and cardiovascular conditioning. Through education, movement, hands-on practice, and guided feedback, participants will develop the skills and confidence to safely structure classes, intelligently sequence strength and yoga-based movements, incorporate equipment, and create an experience that is challenging, balanced, and accessible.

This training goes beyond learning a single sequence or class format. Participants will learn the principles behind effective Yoga Sculpt programming, including exercise selection, class structure, cueing, transitions, modifications, progressions, music and energy management, and considerations for teaching in both heated and non-heated environments.

While the training is rooted in Rogue Awakening's signature Power Sculpt methodology, the knowledge and skills gained are designed to be transferable. Participants will leave prepared to apply these principles when teaching Yoga Sculpt, Yoga Strength, Power Yoga with weights, and similar strength-based yoga formats at other studios, gyms, and wellness spaces.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

Each student will receive:

- A comprehensive Power Sculpt Teacher Training manual by Giovanna Knudsen, E-RYT 200, RYT 500

- Their own set of resistance bands and sliders to use throughout the training and take home for continued practice and teaching

- Tools and resources for creating original, balanced Yoga Sculpt-style class sequences

- Certificate of Completion for 15 Continuing Education Contact Hours (CECs) recognized by Yoga Alliance

WHO IS THIS FOR

This training is designed for yoga teachers who want to expand their offerings into Yoga Sculpt and strength-based formats, fitness instructors looking to thoughtfully incorporate yoga principles into their classes, and experienced Yoga Sculpt practitioners who are ready to deepen their knowledge and step confidently into teaching.

It is also well suited for movement professionals who want to better understand how to combine yoga, strength, endurance, and cardiovascular conditioning while maintaining intentional sequencing, accessibility, and safety.

Whether you plan to teach Power Sculpt at Rogue Awakening or bring what you learn to another studio, gym, or wellness space, this training will provide you with an adaptable foundation for creating and teaching your own Yoga Sculpt-style classes with confidence, creativity, safety, and purpose.

Approved for continuing education, this 15-hour course is a great opportunity to maintain your credentials while expanding your teaching repertoire and developing skills you can take with you wherever you teach.

What To Expect

Day One

Day Two

Additional Requirements

Day one we will explore the foundations of teaching Yoga Sculpt, beginning with how yoga, strength training, and cardiovascular conditioning can be intentionally combined to create a safe, balanced, and effective class. Students will break down class structure, exercise selection, muscle groups, equipment use, transitions, and sequencing while learning how to incorporate free weights, resistance bands, sliders, and bodyweight movements. We will also explore proper form and alignment, modifications and progressions, effective cueing, and considerations for teaching in heated environments. Throughout the day, students will begin putting these concepts into practice through movement labs and hands-on sequencing exercises.

Day two focuses on application, coaching, and developing the confidence to lead a complete Yoga Sculpt-style experience. Students will learn how to use music, timing, instructor presence, and motivational coaching to create energy while still maintaining the mindfulness and intentionality of yoga. The day will include dedicated time to build original class sequences, practice transitions, coach modifications, and teach portions of a Yoga Sculpt class while receiving guided feedback. Students will work with their own resistance bands and sliders throughout the training, which are theirs to take home and use in their continued practice and teaching. By the end of day two, students will have the tools and framework needed to confidently create and lead Yoga Sculpt-style classes that can be adapted for Rogue Awakening's Power Sculpt format or brought into other studios, gyms, and wellness spaces.

In addition to 13 hours of in-studio learning, participants will complete two observation hours at Rogue Awakening. These observation hours are designed to bridge the gap between learning and application, giving students the opportunity to see the concepts, techniques, and teaching strategies covered throughout the training come to life in a real-world class setting. Participants will observe class structure, sequencing, cueing, transitions, modifications, instructor presence, and overall class management, helping them better understand how to confidently apply what they have learned in their own teaching.
