
40-HOUR TRAINING SCHEDULE
To earn your PowerFormer Level 1 Certification, participants must complete all 40 hours of training, attend both weekends, and successfully fulfill all required coursework and practical assessments.
Weekend One
September 26-27
8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
The first weekend focuses on building your foundation through education, movement, and hands-on learning.
You'll explore:
PowerFormer philosophy
Equipment orientation
Anatomy
Teaching methodology
Posture clinics
Class participation
Manual review
Independent Practice
Between weekends, you'll continue developing your skills by:
Taking 4 PowerFormer classes with different instructors
Observing 2 classes
Completing observation notes and reflections
Studying the training manual and online movement library
Weekend Two
October 10-11
8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
The second weekend is dedicated to applying everything you've learned.
You'll explore:
Review key concepts
Refine transitions
Practice partner teaching
Build complete class sequences
Receive coaching feedback
Complete your practical teaching assessment
By the end of the training you'll confidently teach a demo PowerFormer class using the PowerFormer teaching framework as part of your certification requirements.
