Intended for expecting and new parents, this class benefits both parent(s)-to-be and baby. Your Prenatal and Postnatal Yoga practice will help you find balance in your body, improve sleep, increase strength and flexibility, and will help you develop breathing techniques that you can use during labor.


** Looking for a gentle class, but you don't quite fit the "criteria?" That's okay! We have plenty of individuals join us who are not growing their families and just want to breathe, stretch, and connect with themselves. **

What To Bring

Our Pre/Postnatal Yoga class is very similar to our All Levels Yoga class, which is why we tell everyone that anyone can come and take this class, regardless of if they're expecting or not, if it fits in their schedule. Your teacher will emphasize poses that open the hips, engage your core, and connect to your breath - we can all agree that everyone can benefit from that! 

Your teacher may show up and offer a more relaxing pre/postnatal yoga class somedays, and other days they may have you break a little sweat. Arrive on your mat to move your body exactly how it needs to move to make you feel awesome and be sure to share with your teacher how far along you are if you are expecting! We are super excited to be on this journey with you.

Our non-heated room is set to a comfortable temperature of 68-72 degrees fahrenheit. We encourage everyone to dress in layers so that you can take off or add more clothing as needed to make you feel most comfortable. We have blankets available if you need a little extra warmth.

Bring a yoga mat and water. You don't have one or more of those items? Not to worry! We have water available for purchase for $2, mats available for rent for $3, and towels available for your complementary use during every visit. We can help you gather the items you need at the front desk! 

All other necessary props and equipment are provided by Rogue Awakening.
